I tried to visit with her as often as I could, but busy lives often get in the way of such relationships. The flowers she received had no such problems, though. She often said that it was as if I were there, and she would talk to the flowers as if they were me. My fiancee and his friends, for some odd reason, decided to take a cross-country trip to California and back.
